In the news--February 2010
The Tribune in Greeley, Colo., featured Shepherd of the Hills, Greeley, in a Nov. 1, 2009, article. The article discusses how the recession is affecting the congregation in its finances but not in its faith. The article quotes Dave Olson, pastor at Shepherd of the Hills: "We've had some folks who've lost their jobs, or at least their financial situation has changed. I always point them to Jesus and the salvation they have there. It's been neat to see how people have been able to grow from that. They've learned to see what they have in Jesus is better than whatever they had as far as material things go."
