At a family reunion, a grandfather gave the closing devotion. He finished and then said, “Godspeed on your way home.”
His eight-year-old granddaughter was indignant. She said, “How could anybody go at the speed of God?”

Under the heading Church Library, our service folder included this notice: “If you haven’t recently checked out the church library, located on the south end of the fellowship hell, please do so” (emphasis added, thankfully). Really, we have a very nice fellowship hall that serves us very well, but evidently the computer didn’t agree.
