Dear God, even though we individually may not be able to go to places like Sure Foundation, Woodside, N.Y., you give us as a synod the opportunity to help with mission work—to so many people from so many cultures—near and far. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your ministry. Continue to lead us in the direction you would have us go, and encourage us when the planting and watering of your Word seems fruitless.  Thank you for your compassionate, unconditional love demonstrated through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It is only that kind of love that helps us share your love with others. Amen.
